What we do in Mavalle and how we have positioned ourselves on a national and international level

We are a pioneer in the agro-industrial production of natural rubber. We cover the different stages of the process, from production in the field, receiving the raw material in the plant, its transformation, storage and marketing as TSR-10, delivering a high quality product.

We are located in the Puerto Lopez – Puerto Gaitan corridor, in the department of Meta, Colombia.

Our trajectory began in 1989, when the purpose of implementing a research and planting program for natural rubber was established, in order to use this raw material in the national tire production industry.

During the development of this initiative, we had the privilege of receiving two consultancy services, one from the English firm Harryson’s Fleming, a recognized company dedicated to international consultancy in late-development crops, and the other from the French company Michelin, the main tire producer on the planet and a world leader in the cultivation of natural rubber.

Thanks to our more than 30 years of experience, we have consolidated our position as a leading company in the production and marketing of TSR-10, which has allowed us to serve the national and international markets, reaching countries such as Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the United States.

MAVALLE S.A.S. is an agro-industrial company that farms, processes and markets natural rubber, directed to national and international markets, committed to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector, high quality standards that meet the needs of the interested parties, maintaining dynamic and efficient processes, in order to achieve business growth, social welfare and economic benefit.

Vision

For the year 2021 MAVALLE S.A.S will be consolidated as a company that is a pioneer in the transformation of special natural rubbers, directed to niches in national and international markets.

Our plant and laboratory

Our industrial plant, of Malaysian origin, began operation in 2015 and is specially designed for the production of TSR. The plant has a production capacity of 3 tons/hour of our product, and in 2021 it is scheduled to be expanded to a capacity of 5 tons/hour, which will allow us to take over the production of the heveiculturists in the area and meet the product needs of the country and other regions of the world.

Additionally, we have duly certified laboratory equipment, for the constant collection and testing of natural rubber samples. In this way we guarantee the quality of our product.

Scope Management System

We are focused on achieving customer satisfaction, so we work using standardized processes that allow us to consistently obtain a high quality TSR-10.

Each of the production process stages is properly supported by controls and physicochemical analysis, which allow us to identify and correct any abnormality in a timely manner, thus preventing a flawed product from reaching our customers. Likewise, we have the ideal team to resolve any doubt from our buyers.

In MAVALLE S.A.S the integrated management system is aimed towards the satisfaction of the interested parties, with the agro-industrial production of natural rubber with high quality standards in the national and international markets, the fulfillment of the legal and contractual requirements, seeking the continuous improvement of its processes, the safety and health of its employees, preventing work-related accidents and diseases, preventing any illegal activity, bribery and corruption of its operations, the protection of the environment and pollution prevention, and the promotion of social responsibility.

Por tal razón, nuestros sistemas se encuentran certificados bajo los estándares:

ISO 14001: 2015 (Medio Ambiente).
ISO 45001: 2018 (Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo).

Para Mavalle, es de vital importancia que nuestras operaciones comerciales sean realizadas bajo estándares de seguridad en la cadena de suministro.
Por este motivo, contamos con la certificación BASC Versión 6 estándar 601.

Ecovadis la empresa con mayor fiabilidad en calificaciones de sostenibilidad empresarial del mundo, ha certificado a Mavalle con la medalla de plata para el año 2021, la cual evidencia las buenas prácticas en cuatro ámbitos de sostenibilidad: medio ambiente, prácticas laborales y derechos humanos, ética y compras sostenibles.
